Parliamentary Role
Rupert Lowe has served as the Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth since the July 2024 general election. He was initially elected as a Reform UK candidate but now sits as an Independent MP following his suspension from the party in March 2025.
As an MP, Lowe represents the interests of approximately 75,000 constituents in the Great Yarmouth area of Norfolk, including the towns of Great Yarmouth, Gorleston-on-Sea, and surrounding villages.

- Rupert Lowe (Reform UK): 14,294 votes (35.3%)
- Conservative: 12,868 votes
- Labour: 10,757 votes
- Majority: 1,426 votes
- Turnout: 55.4%
Great Yarmouth Constituency

Salary Donation Pledge
Lowe has pledged to donate his entire MP salary (approximately £91,346 per year) to local charities and causes in Great Yarmouth. He rotates donations between different charitable organisations each month, reflecting his view that he does not need the parliamentary income.
This pledge is consistent with his substantial personal wealth from his business career.
From Reform UK to Independent
Lowe was elected as one of five Reform UK MPs in July 2024. However, in March 2025, he was suspended from the party following a dispute with leadership. He now sits as an Independent and leads the Restore Britain party.
